Ski Mask the Slump God is an American rapper and head of the rap group Very Rare. He’s known for tracks like “Take A Step Back” “Where’s The Blow” and “Life is Short”. His discography includes the mixtapes, Beware the Book of Eli (2018) and Drown-in-Designer (2016), and the EPs, Very Rare Lost Files (2016) and Slaps for My Drop-Top Minivan (2016). He was named to the 2018 XXL Freshman Class. Ski Mask was born Stokeley Clevon Goulbourne on April 18, 1996, in Florida. He was raised in Broward County.

CAREER
Ski Mask the Slump God grew up listening to acts like Wu-Tang Clan, Busta Rhymes, Missy Elliott, and Lil Wayne. He first met rapper XXXTentacion at a juvenile detention center. The two became friends and have since collaborated on several tracks. Upon his release, Ski Mask started the rap group ‘Very Rare’. He’s also a member of ‘Members Only’ alongside XXXTentacion, Wifisfuneral and Craig Xen. His first song “Catch Me” was released in late 2015. He was featured on the EP, Members Only Vol. 1, which dropped in April 2015. The second installment of the ‘Members Only’ EP was released in October 2015. It featured songs like “I Am!” and “King of The Dead”.

Ski Mask’s debut mixtape, Drown-in-Designer, was released in May 2016. It spawned tracks like “Where’s the Blow” featuring Lil Pump, and “Take a Step Back” with XXXTentacion. His first EP, Very Rare Lost Files, was released in June 2016. It featured productions from Jimmy Duval, KelleBender, and Lanlord. A second EP, Slaps For My Drop-Top Minivan, dropped in July 2016. It included songs like “Death is Long” and “Like a Soccer Mom”. Ski Mask has millions of spins on SoundCloud. Selected tracks from his page include “Young Voorhees”, “The Human Centipede” and “Catch Me Outside”. His single “BabyWipe” was released by Republic Records in April 2017. It was produced by CashMoneyAP.

Beware the Book of Eli, Ski Mask’s third mixtape, was released in May 2018 by Victor and Republic Records. The tape charted at #50 on the Billboard 200 and #28 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. It was supported by the single “DoIHaveTheSause?”, produced by FH3 Beats. The production team also includes Murda Beatz, Jimmy Duval, and Timbaland among others. Rappers Ronny J, SahBabii and Rich the Kid had guest verses.

Ski Mask the Slump God is about 5ft 7in tall and he’s of Jamaican ancestry. His net worth is estimated at $4 million. On April 10, 2017, Ski Mask opened for Desiigner on his ‘The Outlet Tour’ in California. During his performance he got into an altercation with fellow rapper Rob Stone. He was reportedly jumped by Rob and members of his entourage.
