NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — The National Weather Service (NWS) confirmed Thursday a seventh tornado hit Middle Tennessee during the deadly outbreak on December 9.
The newest tornado is an EF-1 in Clay County. According to NWS, a brief tornado touched down at 6:07 p.m. near Harlan Crossroads. It traveled into Monroe County, Kentucky where it ended at 6:11 p.m.

NWS reports the tornado blew down a few trees on Barber Shop Road as an EF-0. It then intensified to EF-1 as it moved northeast into Kentucky and caused significant roof and siding damage to several chicken barns on Harlan Crossroads.
A home also lost its porch and part of its roof on Red Hill-Beech Grove Road. A few more trees were blown down west of Beech Groves-Boles Road before the tornado lifted, NWS reports.

Other confirmed tornadoes from Saturday include:
- EF-3in Clarksville/Todd/Logan counties
- EF-2 in Cumberland Furnace/Dickson County
- EF-2 in White Bluff/Dickson County
- EF-2 in Springfield/Robertson County
- EF-2 in Madison/Hendersonville/Gallatin
- EF-1 in Clay/Monroe counties
At least six people died in the outbreak, including two children.
