Amitabh Bachchan credited his brother Ajitabh Bachchan for introducing him to acting and inspiring him to enter the film industry. Amitabh shared this memory on the latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 15.
Opening up about his brother Ajitabh, Big B explained that in relationships between siblings, particularly younger ones, a protective environment is created by the elder ones to take care of them.
The actor mentioned that he has a younger brother who is 5-6 years younger than him. He remembered feeling responsible for protecting his younger sibling and surprisingly, it was his younger brother who influenced him to pursue a career in the film industry.
Big B reminisced about the time when his brother Ajitabh suggested that he should pursue a career in films. At the time, they were both working in Kolkata and Ajitabh took his pictures and submitted them to a contest. Although he was rejected, the idea of joining the film industry had already been planted in his mind. As a result, Big B quit his job soon after.
For the unversed, Ajitabh Bachchan is a businessman who lives a very discreet life in London. He is wedded to Ramola and has three children.
