Alina Page leapt from the roof of The Brittany (pictured right) after an argument with her surgeon husband Brian Page (seen with their two children)

Alina Page, a 35-year-old mother of two, tragically died on Thursday, December 14th, evening, after falling from the top of her luxury apartment complex on Manhattan's Upper East Side. The New York Post said that the event happened after she reportedly got into a fight with her husband, orthopaedic surgeon Brian Page.

The disagreement took place in the couple's $7,500-a-month apartment in The Brittany, a chic high-rise known for its sweeping views of the East and Harlem rivers. According to sources, Alina left the flat following the argument, which is what caused the unfortunate incident.

Alina Page suffered injuries that were consistent with falling from an elevated height, the NYPD confirmed. She was taken to NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell in severe condition, but despite medical personnel trying to save her, she passed away from her injuries upon arrival.

Page, from Russia, married Brian in 2007, and she would often share her love for her New York home. The couple had moved from Temple, Texas to the busy city with their two kids, and they were about to celebrate their 16th wedding anniversary.

Alina Page gave an impression of a cheerful and vibrant life on social media by frequently posting images of her wonderful times with her family. Alina Page was regarded as a devoted wife and mother by her friends and neighbours.

Was It An Issue Of Building Safety Features?

It's important to note that this incident follows a recent instance in which someone fell from a tall building in New York City, raising questions about the safety of such tall structures.

The Brittany provides its residents with features including a state-of-the-art fitness centre, a rooftop sundeck with captivating views, and a doorman on duty around-the-clock.

The structure, which has exceptional safety precautions in place, has sparked concerns about the true nature of the incident. The rooftop fence is tall, the windows have child safety features, and the area is generally family-friendly, according to the residents. Although investigations are still ongoing, officials have not yet classified the occurrence as a suicide.
