Sonam and Anand will be tying the knot on May 8 with grand celebrations. The Kapoor house in Juhu is already lit up and decorated beautifully. It’s also heard that Farah Khan is busy choreographing the dance performances of Karan Johar, Arjun Kapoor amongst others. As the families are super ecstatic about the duo to tie the knot, here we bring you all the information you need to know about Sonam Kapoor’s soon-to-be husband. Anand Ahuja is a Delhi based businessman who works as the founder and CEO of his fashion brand, Bhane. An astute entrepreneur, Anand is also the co-founder of Veg Non Veg, India’s first multi-brand sneaker boutique. He is the son of Sunil and Beena Ahuja and their family is counted as one of the most illustrious Delhi based business family.
Anand has two younger brothers, Amit and Anant who are achieving great heights too in their respective fields. He did his schooling at the American Embassy School in Delhi and further graduated with a degree in Economics and Business Relations from the University of Pennsylvania. Later Anand even pursued MBA at Wharton but soon dropped out of it. Before starting big on his own, Anand even interned with Deutsche Bank, Macy’s and Amazon. Post that Anand even took the position of Managing Director at Shahi Exports, his own family business. The export house is touted to be one of the biggest of our country.
Other than work, Sonam’s Mr. Right is also fond of BMX bikes and basketball. Infact, last year on his birthday, Sonam specially gifted him a special BMX bike pictures of which the two shared on their social media handles. Being a romantic that he is, Anand even planned a super special birthday for Sonam last year. Aww.
