Kate Lyn Sheil Became Interested in Theater as a Child
Born on June 13, 1985, Sheil is a New Jersey native who shares the same passion for acting as her husband. In 2006, Sheil completed her acting program at New York University, where she claimed to be a good student.
NYU was Sheil's school of choice, and she did not apply elsewhere. "I thought that I was going to show up and be just the dumbest, worst actor that they admitted that year, just a fluke," she said. However, it seemed that the institution saw potential in Sheil and admitted her.
Sheil was only a child when she became interested in theater. After her first play, she started participating in high school stage productions but did not think she would become a professional.
